Randall Jones, Reynold Jones and the Camp Shed – Mount Joy Cemetery Board along with a number of contributors recently celebrated Historical Marker Dedications at the rural cemeteries between Cooper and Paris Texas. Randall Jones grew up on a farm in rural East Texas more specifically between Enloe and Mount Joy just across from the Camp Shed Cemetery. Randall attended East Texas Teachers College where he received his Under Grad and Masters Degrees in Education. Reynold Jones received his BBA in Finance at the same University later named East Texas State University and now named Texas A & M at Commerce. Randall is a retired Educator from Hurst – Euless – Bedford ISD. Reynold Jones is in the Life Insurance Business in the Dallas TX area. There are interesting Historical Narratives that were submitted to the State of Texas that describe the initial settlement of Delta County near Cooper Tx. These Narratives can be found at Enloe Museum Blog. Thanks to the Cemetery Board, Shirley Smith, Richard Duncan, Jeff Duncan & the many contributors that made the dedication a special event. Thanks to my dad Randall Jones for having the vision to initiate this years ago. Hats off to Cindy Roller of the Cooper Review / KETR 88.9 Radio for doing such an incredible job of promoting and Highlighting the event for all East Texans!
